Sweet Tooth Tuesday: Chocolate Chip Oatmeal cookies


We featured this recipe as one of the first that we did so I am giving a reminder to everyone who has joined us since about =)  The fabulous Keri showed is this super yummy cookie that would be perfect for those of you who love cookie dough but are afraid of raw eggs or if you have egg allergies in your family.  These look delish!  I think I may need to go make me a batch right now.......


Craving cookies- but you are missing eggs? No problem! Try this delectable recipe I found on the great recipe site All Recipes.

Ingredients:
0 Eggs!
1 cup butter or margarine
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup white sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 cup boiling water
2 cups quick cooking oats
1 1/2 semisweet chocolate chips

Directions:
1. Beat butter or margarine, sugars, and vanilla until light and fluffy. Add flour and salt. Mix well.
2. Dissolve baking soda in boiling water and add to mixture. Stir in rolled oats and chocolate chips.

3. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. Don't over cook. Eat them quickly or your family will!
