HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!! Haha! J/k! Although it feels like it should be here anyday because the stores are all decked out! Well I love Halloween and am super excited for it this year. So I am posting this early so we can all be prepared to countdown to my most favorite of all holidays!
So I had my hubby (I totally could have done it, but was a wee bit stressed about other stuff and he took pity on me!) cut my two blocks. He cut them to be square which is a little bit under 4 inches. He also cut out a 7 inch piece from a 2x4. And then I sanded them down so they looked nice =)
So I kinda forgot to take a picture of the painting process, but I just painted them black. I used acrylic paint.
I cut out my halloween paper to fit the sides. I chose 12 different patterns and I cut them 3x3.
Them I used some mod podge on the blocks and pressed my paper on. After they were good and dry I put another layer of mod podge on top to seal it all in.
So pretty...
Here are some more views of my different sides.
In order to make it so that you can do the countdown correctly here are where the #'s need to go:
Block A: 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5
Block B: 0, 1, 2, 7, 8, 9
(Make sure you use a font so that the 9 can reverse to a 6!!!)
And here they are all dolled up!
And here they are all dolled up!
I seriously love it!
